not my strongest suit
I don’t like to talk about myself, it comes very unnaturally. Give me someone or something else to promote and I’ve been told I could sell ice to Eskimos (no offense to any Inuits reading this).
That said, with my current search for more freelance work in-progress, I need to get over the fear of sounding either too confident or more qualified than I feel at times. Believe it or not, that’s what holds me back. I don’t want to sound boastful or make myself seem capable of doing things I’m not.
So, in an effort to get more exposure I’m trying some new things:

I bought a domain! Finally, I know. But still, it’s exciting for me. After buying and managing domains for other people, I now have one of my own.
At present it redirects you to the Welcome page here, thus my rush to redo this site. :)

hard hats required
I’m updating the site again. I’ve meant to do this for the longest time, but have put it off. Which isn’t to say that this is the best time to do this. Quite the reverse actually, but you need to strike while the iron is hot. So, I’m renovating. The biggest change is the customized header graphic. Yes, I could have made my own, but I sort of like the cut away of the grass. And it’s much simpler to just add text than to create something from scratch.
I’ve added a category cloud. Not sure how long that will last…I’m still deciding if I like it. I’ve gotten rid of the About text on the side bar and moved it to the Welcome page. I’m rewriting the main welcome blurb, too. I just haven’t posted the new version yet.
As part of this overhaul I’m removing the sub pages from all my main pages. This means each page will be longer, but it also simpler. Like it, hate it? Let me know.
